You might think that Rotaract is just a term or as a matter of fact an entity. Well, let me tell you, its what you want it to be for you. I did the same. At first I was told that it is a waste of time and that social service is a thankless job. Maybe those who said it were right but I wanted to see it for myself.
Honestly speaking, I was associated with the Rotaract Club of my college and I enjoyed it a lot. It taught me to organise stuff as well as lead something as small as the Paper Drive Project and make it a bloody success.
I made new friends and met so many new people along the way. You make yourself known to people even if they tell you that you need to go and collect a single newspaper. You ought to do it with a smile on your face.
There have been a fair share of doubters along the way but, my friends, honestly speaking-
Haters can go and suck it. If there is anything in my life that I am proud of up until now it is this that I have worked my ass off for that club and nobody can deny that.
Keep calm and save paper. Because Rotaractors know how much goes to waste.
